• Local preferences: Your sound selections, timer settings, and purchase status are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device.
• Purchase information: If you make in-app purchases, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Stripe (web). We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Health or sleep data
• Contacts, photos, or any other device data

Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

• Apple In-App Purchases (iOS): Handles payment processing for premium sounds. Apple's privacy policy applies to these transactions.
• Stripe (Web): Handles payment processing for the web version. Stripe's privacy policy applies to web transactions.
• Expo: The app is built with the Expo framework. Expo does not collect user data from production apps by default.

Data Storage

All app data (sound preferences, timer history, unlock status) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers or databases that store user information. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is removed.

Children's Privacy

Peaceful Rest does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation, does not collect personal data, and contains no social features or user-generated content.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
